A Bonsai Tree

Started working on a Bonsai tree for my demoreel.

This is the reference image I'm using for the model.

Heres the WIPs,

Occlusion render

Wireframe

I'm stuck with two problems in here.

- As u can see, 'm not able to render the wire-frame of few branches using vector render in maya. So if you know wht the problem is about please let me know.
- Modeling the leaves individually is a hectic process and not the efficient way to finish this model, so if you can suggest a way to populate the tree with leaves then let me know.

Thanks in advance.

P.S: theres more to come :)

The DREAM:IN Journey

The DREAM:IN project is the creation of a set of design thinkers across borders. It is designed to challenge us to create not for people’s needs, but for their dreams. Its time to get greed and need out of the way and create common dreams. In India, is it the time to unlock dreams, the dream of every common man, woman and child. And I'm more than happy to say that I was a part of this Journey which inspired me and made me re-think my goals and the perspective of the way I see.

This Journey was planned for seven days, i.e., from 11th to 18th during which we traveled from Bangalore to Delhi-Aligarh-Agra-Etawah-Kanpur-Lucknow and back to Bangalore with a group of 9 members.

To sum it up, this was an amazing Journey!!
